Products from both companies will soon be available online and at the main showroom at the company's Fort Walton Beach headquarters. "We're making a huge committment to the home recording enthusiast by adding quality high tech products that are both affordable anf easy-to-use." says Dick Reinlie, Playground's General Manager.
Named "Company of the Year" by The Music Trades Magazine, Akai Professional sells home and professional recording devices, controllers, drum machines and synthesizer/samplers such as the EWI (Electronic Wind Instrument), XR20 Beat Production System and the flagship MPC5000 Music Production Center.
M-Audio was founded in 1988 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Avid Technology, award winning makers of digital audio and video products for music and film production. M-Audio products include Didigidesign's Protools M-Powered software and hardware products, USB and MIDI Interfaces, studio reference monitors, microphones and keyboard controllers.
